kakashi: Hi all! A new reader, SleepyNanda, who just recently finished watching Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms and says she read ALL the comments (kudos!), will add a few additional tidbits or new perspectives to the drama based on her experience and research. Her first is...

kakashi: We're at the end, my friends. What a delightful journey. JoAnne: We still haven't recovered from what was basically a meteor strike dead center of our drama lives. Will we ever? My normal drama life feels extinct, like the dinosaurs.

kakashi: Sad, sad, sad grieving. Me crying. JoAnne: But his hair is really happy to see us, Kakashi!

kakashi: Hell. What an episode so close to the end! Let me tell you, I am glad I did not live-watch this show. JoAnne: I'm not sure if I was live-watching at this point or not. Well, what passes for live-watching, since it had completely aired already on Chinese TV. I don't think I was, though.

kakashi: Dear Peaches - the recap project is almost over TT____________TT but we can't let go. In the process of creating the background for our fanfiction project , we came up with a timeline, which we want to share with you. Comments and corrections are welcome! We had to guess a few of the dates from background information. Pillow Book events are omitted.

kakashi: Another eventful episode, now close to the end! Ye Hua's mortal trial may be over, but a trial of another kind is waiting for him - will he win Bai Qian back before the end of the drama? Or will we all cry our eyes out for all eternity? JoAnne: It's okay either way, Peachers. Kakashi and the Writer Throng will make it right if Ye Hua doesn't get his girl in the end. No Peach Pitty Parties will be necessary!

kakashi: Payback time. One of the most satisfying episodes, unless you're a Su Jin fan. JoAnne: Do such creatures exist? No .

kakashi: In case you were wondering why things have slowed down; it's a mixture of real life demands, fanfiction writing and regret that recapping this drama will be over soon. I'm stalling! I really don't want this to end. In addition, these last few episodes are really slow. JoAnne: I don't know about y'all but the break was nice. Don't get me wrong, I luuuuuh me some Mark Chao face/hair/smile/Qian Qian give me another baby but I'm ready for this to be over. Mama needs to rest.

kakashi: We learn a valuable lesson in this episode: Do not piss off fate. A bit of the badass that Fengjiu could (or should) have been makes an appearance, but it just makes me sad that she wasn't always a fate-denying crazy little fighter.  JoAnne: I'm nodding my head in agreement, not that you can see it. Take my word for it, and I bet you will also agree that we're lucky she's so charming in general because it bought her a little grace from us during her most embarrassing moments. Plus, we know that she still has a chance to grow up and be a bad ass Queen, too, right ?

kakashi: This is a very slow episode, a typical filler. Beyond that, it's slow torture for Mo Yuan. I found it very sad, overall. JoAnne: But look at him. All those nipples put me off a bit, though, if I'm being perfectly honest.

kakashi: Fengjiu finally gets it. I repeat: Fengjiu finally gets it! Let's see how long it lasts, haha. There is no Ye Hua in this episode, because he's currently about 1 year old, but we get plenty of sad, barely coping Shifu instead. *cries a river* JoAnne: Dijun, this pinkish shade is nice.

kakashi: Mo Yuan, Mo Yuan, MO YUAN!!!! (Sorry, Ye Hua, Mo Yuan fangirl here) JoAnne: One glance and I was all 'oooh but the facial hair, oh yes, I remember!'

kakashi: I must apologize to all of you for the amount of gifs in this post. We all know this episode has some of the best OTP moments of the entire drama and I just couldn't help myself. If you use up all your monthly data, I am sorry but not sorry. And I am not taking any responsibility for any other damage like exploding ovaries either.  JoAnne: I wonder if there'll be an increase in actresses who will be angling for opportunities to have on-screen romances with Mark after all this is over.

kakashi: Bai Qian finds out what Ye Hua did for Mo Yuan: that was quick! She is both horrified and extremely grateful. Maybe he is too weak to worry too much about Mo Yuan as a rival? In any case, he is clearly very happy to have her near him.  JoAnne: I think his skin is even better when he's lying down. That's crazy, right? It is.

kakashi: A slow-ish episode, in which we see just how bad Ye Hua is and in which Bai Qian expresses fears and doubts that her Shifu will ever come back. JoAnne: I think her attention is misdirected...

kakashi: Time to meet the four magnificent, ferocious, very bad CGI mystical beasts! They like arms for breakfast. After being badly wounded by them, Ye Hua goes and uses up his life force for an elixir that will revive Mo Yuan. JoAnne: I just spent several minutes wondering if it would be inconsiderate to say 'here, let me give you a hand with that' to someone who only had one of them.

kakashi: Bai Qian FINALLY realizes that she has feelings for Ye Hua frees the poor man from his anguish - at least the bodily anguish. He still does not believe she loves him. And he is about to do something really, really dangerous. AGAIN. He never learns, does he. JoAnne: Oh but the smile, the smile. Look at the smile.

kakashi: Ah, 43. Known for killing mortal Dijun and known for pushing Ye Hua to the edge. Ah, the acting. Ah, Mark Chao. Ah, the heartbreak. JoAnne: Ah, to be pushed up against a wall by a hungry Mark Chao.

kakashi: Is it really true what they're saying? Mo Yuan is returning?! *starts epic happy dance* Oh, and before I forget myself: Su Jin. Watch her be squashed like a bug by Bai Qian's awesome pettiness.  JoAnne: I live for these moments, I really do.
