Rants and Weekly Raves (RAWR) #406

Anne: Ah...memorial weekend...one extra day in the weekend...and I spent it ALL catching up on the Korean dramas that have somehow sucked me in. I have little else to update so let's just get to the discussions! Again My Life Well...all's well that ends well... As expected, Hee Woo's friends were running their own "plans" in order to help him. We now know why Secretary Kim stuck by Cho Tae Seob this entire time, how she "died" to become the reaper who gave Hee Woo a second chance, and the origins of the man who murdered Hee Woo in his previous life. Cho Tae Seob was, at one point, doing some slightly questionable things for the "greater good", which for him has always been a stronger Korea. It was during this transition phase of his, that he set in motion a series of events that led to a fire at the orphanage where Secretary Kim and her older brother (Tae Seob's eventual hit man) were rescued by Tae Seob. In the end, Hee Woo removed everyon

Anne: This last week, I reflected on how at the age of (on the greater side of 45), an introverted girl who spent most of her childhood and adulthood doing things by herself and rarely gathered with a bunch of friends, ended up being regarded as the party planner for the department. It is one of those thing that if I look back at where I was versus where I am, I don't think anyone who knew me when I was younger would ever have recognized me as a person who has little to no hesitation of public speaking, who is comfortable in debating with almost anyone, and who has now become the point person in charge of corporate team building activities. But I have to say, this is probably the best part of my job, spending money on FUN events! Maybe I should move into marketing... But, back to reality, and my weekly submersion into dramaland...or what I like to refer to as the scant patches of drama oasis in an endless desert, that has become the year 2022's drama field. Seriously, did they

Anne: Hello Everyone! I'm one day late with the post. Work has buried me under at least ten feet of paperwork. I would like to say that I'm exaggerating. Sigh...  Apparently, my party planning skills have now volunteered me to plan a site wide celebration for Asian Heritage Month. I sort side stepped and told the team that I can supplied the costumes and the payments. It is my time to wear the HanFu that I have stored in my closet! How exciting! Is it just me or has the drama selections lately been kind of blah....? But my ongoing drama has kept me busy. On with the discussions! Who Rules the World The look of a man who just got rejected and CANNOT believe it just happened! I have to say Yang Yang certainly have improved in his acting. I have caught up to episode 27, which is still only about half way through. While the story started slow, I am getting more absorbed in the story line. Granted, this is a genre that I like, so I do give this show a lot more chances than anything

Anne: I start this blog with about 2 frozen margaritas in my tummy...so read on and beware. I am usually not a chatty person, even though my conversation stream gets a little side tracked every now and then, but when I get slightly tipsy...Watch Out! All of a sudden I have a TON of things I want to talk about. I'm not exactly sure if I make any sense, but at least I think I'm interesting...Ha Ha.  I have now become officially my department's party planner. I have events lined up for every single month for the rest of the year. Pretty much what I would like to do is just relax with food and drinks, but of course, being employed with a bunch of type A personalities requires some competition to be included. I am VERY tempted to do a Dance Dance Revolution contest because I will win, with almost NO competition. I'm not being a bragger. I have witnesses... Anyway, enough of these rambling conversations that are just pouring out of my finger tips...let's get on with what

Anne: This was the first weekend in a LONG time that I did not spent doing work. However, this technically means that I just ended up procrastinating, and that I probably would have used my time better if I caught up with some things. Do I regret it...Of course not! I got to spend time playing 4 rounds of Mahjong with the elders while the five year old kept announcing to the rest of the table how many "pairs" I have. Good thing that boy doesn't know how to play the game.  Military Prosecutor Doberman Well....everything ended as it should. All the bad guys were caught and sent to prison or executed. Cha Woo In got her father's company back, when Noh Tae Nam gave her all his shares of the company. The troubled boy who sealed his mother's fate at trial by testifying against her ended up in the place where he was the happiest: animal shelter. The Doberman remained with Do Bae Man, who remained in his role in the military. And our best supporting male lead, Kang Han Jo
