My interest in Big Bang began to develop when I decided to join a group of noonas for their Alive concert in November. Let's face it, Kdrama lover to Kpop lover is a natural progression. My specific interest in Seungri developed quite by accident. As a gag gift for the five of us who'd be attending, I decided to make Big Bang headbands. Miss Manners had taught me to let others pick first, so as things went, I was left with Seungri. No problem - at least his hair wasn't the color of Kool Aid (even if the cut did have a slightly Frankensteinish feel to it) and I really had no preference because honestly, at that time I could barely tell one from the other. I form attachments easily. Keeping an eye out for "my boy" at the concert was no easy task, since we were up in the nose bleed section and Seungri didn't get a lot of big screen coverage, nor did he raise the decibel level as high as the others when he walked out on stage. Some of you may know me as Korazy Lady.  I'm filling in for Kakashi today, so I decided  to tackle a subject that she swears has no relevance to her *wink wink*.  This is my first foray into blogging. (urban dictionary) I recently became acquainted with the word “pedonoona” during a lively discussion of Korean dramas among a group of somewhat middle-aged women. The plot - who cares! It was the actor/idol guys getting all the attention. Ha! I scoffed. That word doesn’t apply to me! I am not attracted to underage guys, not ones under 25 anyways (wait, how old is Kim Bum?) And I don’t have pictures of young’uns on my computer (no officer, Song Joong Ki only looks 15 in that shower scene!) And I’m not actually lusting after them, at least not inappro...

Yes, I'm very jealous. For weeks, no, months! the blogosphere has been abuzz with excitement about the upcoming Big Bang concerts in the US. I, myself, have never even listened to a single Big Bang song. Yeah, sure, I know of TOP (because I saw him in IRIS) and of G-Dragon (because everybody knows him). So I'm obviously not jealous of, you know, people going to their concerts to listen to their music. But...   Many of my blogo-friends are actually going to meet each other . And I don't mean online. No, in meatspace, real-life, corporeality. There's feasts and noraebang outings set up, and shopping sprees, and ahjumma film nights, whipped cream and soju drinking and ... I feel so left out . Americans already have Dramabeans and Hulu and access to Viki ETC., while we Europeans constantly need to fight for our daily KDrama fix. And now, the Americans also have Big Bang and will meet other KDrama-addicts - that they have previously known online - in person. Wh...
