The Problematic of the Unproblematic

Shuk: Our gang is camping out together as another way of bonding everyone together. For us, it's just more of the same stuff, just in a prettier setting, with sheep and wind turbines. Kmuse: Who doesn’t love a scenic wind turbine? I know it always adds that extra romantic va va voom for me. SakiVI: This episode was just full of cliches that I hated to no end. Episode 8 Ducky wakes up, still in his pajamas, inside the corporate airplane.  Apparently, he's a really bad flier, because he starts panicking and shouting. Everyone else various reactions from boredom to amusement as he is finally put back in his chair to have a mini-meltdown. Trotwood: To be fair, I think I'd be a bit freaked out if I went to sleep in my own bed and woke up on an airplane. The only people for which this would be normal would be babies who are constantly falling asleep in one place (car seat, crib, etc.) only to wake up in another (mall, Target, park, etc.). Shuk: The show has completed its run on TvN, but we still plod on, one painful episode at a time. (Trotwood: I'm here for you, Shuk!-giving you a virtual consoling pat on back)  Still, it gives us time to think about the existential characteristics of our primary characters, the neopragmaticism of their actions, and whether Eastern epistemology can explain their behaviors. Or maybe I should have another shot of soju and listen to Tropical Storm Matthew rage overhead. Yeah, that last one makes more sense. Jaehyus: I'll hope that Eastern epistemology can explain their behaviors. Several of our regular commenters are buried by RL, so hopefully they will come back soon. Aja aja fighting! Shuk: Things are getting more twisty and complicated, but really, all I'm waiting for is the relationships to start straightening themselves out. And a PA Lee brooding shower scene. Actually, maybe all I'm looking for is a PA Lee brooding shower scene. Drama Noona: Ditto, that’s pretty much all I’m looking forward too. Really let’s have a show with PA Lee as the star! Kmuse: I would be OK with all the guys having a good shower brood. You can never have too many angsty shower scenes. Trotwood: The hope of a broody shower scene is pretty much the only thing getting me through at this point. And my devotion to this team. Shuk:  Through a large amount of time, Cindy manages to sorta-kinda complete her first mission. What are the chances of her finishing one in a single episode? And will we see any of the infantile behavior of the Kang Cats morph into something we can actually root for? Also, KMuse has decided to add into the commenting fun! I am giving her my green font since I'm not using it for this project. Trotwood: There are things we can count on already--1.Player will deny his feelings 2.Fashion Girl will be sad 3.Ibeol will play his guitar.  4. Shuk: It has taken two episodes to get everyone in the same location. How many episodes will it take for everyone's attitude adjustment? And I still want to know what Maleficent has in store for everyone.

Shuk:  It's no great secret that I don't have a lot of patience for Kang Ji-woon / Han Ji-woon / Crybaby Emo Biker. It only gets worse I'm afraid. But this episode isn't solely focused on him. Our heroine gets a few arrows to the heart, too. Trotwood: I feel sorry for her. I also feel sorry for him because the writer has made him so unlikable and not sympathetic at all. Being an orphan does not excuse self pitying behavior or sarcastic condescension.  Jaehyus: What I'm finding weird is how our heroine is just out of school, and looks like she should still be in 7th grade, by which I mean 7th grade back in the 1970s, and our Emo Hero looks 30, but is also the same age since they use first names, right?  I don't know, I'm confused. JoAnne:  I think he has a chip on his shoulder but I in no way think he's as bad as you guys make him out to be. And to make things more fun, we are bringing in a Guest Squeer! Shuk:  After telling myself I would never ever ever have anything to do with the tiniest infinitesimal link with that execrable Blood, along comes Park So-dam, and all that flies out the window. Never mind that The Scheduler is in it, she's so adorable I had to watch the first one. And that, as they say, is that. Jaehyus: is this a remake of a Japanese drama? The story seems familiar. Trotwood: It reminds me of that story as well. I never remember it's name but I remember being angry. Maybe that's why I don't remember the name. JoAnne:  I have no idea what either of you are talking about, but I'm here to be fluffed.
