$_)@*$%^_ Witches Romance Ep 16 (A Finally Final Cap)

Image
Shuk: We have finally reached the final episode. Once this is finalized, we can start something else. Kill Me Heal Me? Or wait for Blood? Both seem like they might be crack(d). Anyways, it's time for the tie-ups and final sweetness before we say goodbye to this 2014 noona romance. JoAnne: I'm still on the fence about KMHM, but I do kinda like it now whereas before I was NOT impressed. Blood just better be a snarkfest, or it's going to be incredibly boring. Both leads have a rather... hmmm... 'low blood pressure' approach to acting. kakashi: This is catharsis. Finishing something that finished so long ago ... it must feel good, no? JoAnne:  Meh. Shuk: [sigh]

$_)@*$%^_ Witch's Romance Ep 15 (A GottaComplete Cap)

Image
What's this? :< Did someone say something bad? *taking out pitchfork* kakashi: It's JoAnne deciding she wants to finish what was once started ... hey, I can help! I just have to rewatch the episodes and most of the time I really hate going back to something I've already seen.  Surprising, right?  I don't do a lot of tv show rewatching, though.  JoAnne, we have a problem!!! All the torrent links for Witch 15 are dead ... I might have to do episode 16 only screencaps and gifs. That's fine by me. I might be able to grab some sub-less screen shots from 15, too. Shuk: I have AWR downloaded, I think. So gifs can be made if needed. I'll add a bunch of gifs that you guys can take out and photoshop as you want. :) I love you, you are awesome, you deserve cookies and a puppy.

Witch's Romance - Episode 14

Image
After a complete dud of an episode (13 must have been the absolute worst), we get a sweet, positive, healing episode next. It's still boring as hell in my opinion, but the sweet kinda makes up for it. Better we have sweet and pointless than bitter and pointless. Yeah, alright, maybe I'm too mean ... it's actually getting really cute again. JoAnne: Pfffffffft. Someone needs a nap. kakashi: It's morning here, but thanks!

Witch's Romance - Episode 13

Image
It's my turn this week! I'm in a stinky mood. I'm tired. I'm vicious. Alright, drama, you wanted it - and now, you get it! --- is what I thought. But then, surprisingly, this episode wasn't too rage-inspiring. Only extremely boring. Though Asshat is still around. JoAnne: I am exhausted because I ran away with Aaron Yan this weekend. It was so worth it. So Polar Bear better watch out and Ji Yeon too, probably, but my love for the puppy and Cutie is still intact because Aaron... that's a different kind of love. Much sweatier. Much.

Witch's Romance - Episode 12

Image
THERE IS LIGHT AT THE END OF THE POLAR TUNNEL. kakashi: If you say so?  Also: Encouraged by the success Kakashi has had in bringing herself to the attention of Kim Ji Hoon, I would like to be as noticed by my lovely puppy, @BN_SJ2013 (follow, follow, follow!) . He will be alerted to this and future episodes. Tweet him and tell him how much you love him, and what a nice person I am. Lie and tell him I'm rich while you're at it. I can be a sugar mama! kakashi: Will do, JoAnne. Anything to make you happy.

Witch's Romance - Episode 11 (A Slightly Calmer Squee)

Image
Things calm down a little bit in the noonasphere as our Puppy is clearly having an effect on Ji Yeon this week. Someone needs to hurry up and just tell Polar Bear he's not the end game, though, because clearly he's not taking the hints the right way, and even if he only got a few minutes air time those were precious minutes we could have spent with Dong Ha. Or Spinach, or even Ban Eomma and Director Shekshi. ANYONE but stupidface, please. kakashi: Well said. Things may be calming down, but they for sure are not OKAY as long as Asshat takes up space and time (including mine). Though he makes me rhyme. And since just bashing Asshat is getting old, maybe we should start bashing Ji-yeon some more, too. Because at the center of all this stupidity is her.

Witch's Romance - Episode 10 (A SqueeCap)

Image
Just get lost, Polar Bear Asshat. I really don't want to deal with you anymore. Shoo! Shooooo! JoAnne: THIS is what we want to see. Yes. While he sings to us. Well, while a recording of him singing plays. I don't want him singing into my mouth.

Witch's Romance - Episode 9 (A SqueeCap)

Image
He is still here. In fact, this episode is probably WORSE than the ones that have come before. Because we actually get to see Asshat with Ji-yeon. They may have absolutely not chemistry, but still, I get why they would want to be together again. JoAnne: The level of hate I feel for this relatively innocuous person (not you sweet boy, the other one) is kind of epic.

Witch's Romance - Episode 8 (A SqueeCap, Now Fortified with Rage)

Image
Listen, the sooner we go through this part, the sooner it's over, right? Me waiting doesn't change any of it. kakashi: Be strong, unni (I still refuse to watch this stuff subbed. Bleh)

Witch's Romance - Episode 7 (A SqueeCap)

Image
Here we are, the episode where we begin to hate on a guy without even knowing his story.  His story doesn't matter because he is interrupting the puppy and that is what matters.  I can tell you this: noonas do not like it when their puppies are thwarted.  At all. kakashi: I hate this episode!!! I refuse to watch it subbed. I do that to punish dramas.  See?

Witch's Romance - Episode 6 (A SqueeCap)

Image
This episode gives us a loooooot of Ji-yeon/Dong-ha interactions. Thank you! It also ends with a confession ... a very sweet one. I guess we are getting to the point - slowly - where this woman can at least start to accept this man for a man. That's progress, I guess? JoAnne: Huh what I.... that picture. It's not a gif but I'd swear they move in toward each other, that's HOW MUCH they want to kiss each other. And I want them to kiss each other. And ok I'd like him to kiss me more, yes, but I'll settle for him kissing her if it can't be me. Shuk:  I'm pretty sure my lips were moving at this point in time.

Witch's Romance - Episode 5 (A SqueeCap)

Image
So ... I have a lot of love for this drama, but wtf happened at the beginning of 5? I was so confused I went back to check whether I had opened the right file. Is this non-linear story-telling? Is it deliberate? Why show us at the beginning of this episode what is going to happen in this episode instead of showing us what actually happened in 4?! And what with the Polar Bear Dude?! Ahhhh! JoAnne! Help me! JoAnne: Based on what did happen in 5, we can safely assume that she did NOT notice Polar Bear Dude at the airport. Because that reaction would have been huge, and would have spilled over into 5. He may have noticed her, though, can't really tell. In My Queen, her feelings about their end were all sad and mad. His were a mix of sad and guilt. (And someone definitely made an editing mistake. )

Witch's Romance - Episode 4 (A SqueeCap)

Image
It is official: this is my crack drama for the Spring. Ji Yeon and Dong Ha are both beginning to realize that the attraction they feel for each other doesn't require a drunken evening at a pongmacha and as they learn more about each other, their respect deepens too. I keep praying they'll actually just give in and go to bed with each other, but we know that won't happen for a long time. Oh well. At least we get more of Cutie Soo, and how can that EVER be a bad thing? kakashi: What an endearing episode! And the crackling! It's become so loud I'll soon need ear muffs! It's not only the panties that are on fire, it's also the chemistry on the screen. That said, I'm experiencing some kind of "commenting fail". What else can I say than "look how cuuuuuuute puppy is" and "omg, omg, he is so cuuuute, and sweeeet, and sexy"?!

Witch's Romance - Episode 3 (A SqueeCap)

Image
During the hiatus last week, I watched My Queen. I liked it. But I did not LOVE it the way I love this version. Ethan Ruan and Cheryl Yang did a great job and sold us a really convincing relationship when all is said and done and if you like the story it's well worth the watch - but so far, this Korean version is hitting all the right notes HARD for me. And yes, those notes would be Puppy, chemistry, giggles, Puppy, chemistry, story, Puppy. PuppyPuppyPuppyPuppy. I admit it. Something about that boy just crackles, and this noona WANTS. kakashi: Hear that crackling? It's somebody's panties. They are on fire.

Witch's Romance - Episode 2 (A Proper SqueeCap)

Image
YAY for cable dramas, Korea! How can we not like a drama that ends episode 1 with a not-so-chaste kiss and ends episode 2 in a bed?? The drama is not perfect, but the main characters are intriguing enough to keep me hooked for the moment. And there is sexy time.   JoAnne: Is it just me or is there serious chemistry there? Shuk: [getting out a fire extinguisher just in case of spontaneous ovarian combustion] I'm just gonna do a bit of Squee-bombing on this one, 'kay?

Witch's Romance - Episode 1 (A Let's See Whether it's SqueeAbleCap)

Image
At this moment in time, I'm not over the end of Age of Feeling , which was imperfect to the extreme but a SqueeCapper's dream, and I'm somewhat reluctant to start on that episode 4 from Hanbokkers Hell, which isn't a SqueeCapper's dream. So: I want to recap but I don't, if you get what I mean (probably not). Anyway, JoAnne tweets this today:  That's mary liking the tweet by the way. She likes most things JoAnne says, until she fully understands what they mean, at which point she is often shocked. But that's not the point here ... the point is, I could go to bed, but I'm not going - I'm recapping this. JoAnne: I will celebrate my return to health with my profound admiration of this puppy and his kisses and dry hump technique.
