Chapter 17 - The Plan Part 2 written by Lala Loop edited by kakashi “You have questions,” said Moyuan. Silence had dominated the space between them ever since they stepped through the cave entrance. They were now walking in a dark, steep tunnel and Moyuan seemed, by means Bai Qian could not yet understand, to know the way very well. They made a few turns here and there, met with stairs once in a while and Bai Qian spent the whole time estimating how vast this cave was.

JoAnne: In this RAWR, Trot and I have a series of conversations - sometimes with ourselves, sometimes with each other. SakiVI: More visions, more creepy villain, and a possible reason for the deaths. kakashi: I guess I'm not as enthralled as you lot with this show. I often find it very draggy. This episode in particular, certain scenes went on and on and on. JoAnne: I do like it, but you're right, there are times when it is very slow. By the way, did anyone notice the Snow Weasel on Evil Keebler's desk?

The one-eyed woman had lost most of her teeth and her tanned face was full of deep wrinkles that were like crevices of shadows in the flickering candle light. After entrusting her hard earned - and sometimes stolen - money to too many charlatans over the millennia, Shao Wan was naturally cautious about approaching the next mystic. But this one had caught her eye in curious ways on her stroll through the night market. Sitting outside her tent on a low stool, smoking her pipe with a content expression, this woman had not tried to draw potential customers’ attention like everybody else, but had simply surveyed the crowds like it was her favorite pastime. Panda: I must apologize for the break in recaps. I got swept up in movies and Prison Playbook for about a week and then RL showed me some “fun times”. I am back though and this is a very cool episode especially the beginning. kakashi: Loved all the He Ye plus forest stuff.  I really dig that magician tribe. JoAnne: I would love any tribe that could make me stop thinking about those disgusting Helan sibs.

JoAnne: I have no hope of other voices this week, readers...Saki is in faraway lands eating delicious things, and Trot is in fly-over country but also eating delicious things. Kakashi is home and always eats delicious things (I do?) , but will probably only talk about Mozart in the Jungle, which is back, yay! - so my one hope is Panda, may she have watched many shows this week. SakiVI: In which we meet a rather creepy villain. Also, Lan Lan the Journalist discovers what has probably become of her missing fiance. kakashi: The villain is great. And his voice *shudders* JoAnne: creeeeeeepy

Chapter 17 - The Plan Part 1 written by LalaLoop edited by kakashi “Here you go, Miss,” The friendly shopkeeper handed Bai Qian the change of two silver coins, which she took and left with the book she had bought for A-li: an anthropology on magical creatures written from a mortal’s point of view. Once she was out of the shop, Bai Qian headed straight for the teahouse where Moyuan was waiting, flipping through the pages on the way. When she arrived, two thirds of the play about the butterflies seemed to have finished. She spotted Moyuan’s figure at a table on the second floor and started to walk up the stairs to him.

Chapter 3 - Green-eyed Stranger written by Bunny consulting by LigayaCroft and Le editing by kakashi “Hhhhmmmm…” Three whole balls of rice were scarfed down so fast, they practically never existed. Bai Qian wiped her mouth clean with her sleeve, held her belly and smiled in contentment. She dropped down lazily onto a plump bed of grass. After coming down from the hill, she and Moyuan had decided to stop at the edge of the valley for a rest. Now lying beneath a large sandalwood tree, Bai Qian’s limbs extended out—arms stretched above her head, toes pointed in a line, and heels digging into the dirt. Her body rejoiced.

JoAnne: It's Sunday night and I've been here, mostly alone, all week. Just me in my dark little cave of dramas, squeeing away like a little bat in the night. kakashi: Are you missing the RED? Look how beautiful I am... Trotwood: I'm here but barely. SakiVI: I got sick again.  I barely breathed this past weekend.  Like literally at times.  FYI, everyone, I probably won't be around for the next couple of Rawrs because I'm off to faraway lands.  You are getting at least two Tientsin Mystic recaps while I'm away, though.

The Celestial forces crushed all..." “He didn’t end the war. She did,” a voice whispered into his ear.

Chapter 100 written by kakashi & Panda When the rain began to fall, people around him started dying. Progressively, the world had gone dark around him. It had lost its color shortly after the Shaman cursed him, until he only saw lights and shadows - now, it was like the light had disappeared, leaving only the shadows behind.

kakashi: Two people are revealed as saints in this episode, whereas Cao Pi shows how much his father's testing is threatening to make him lose himself and the right path. panda: I must be evil but I felt some satisfaction with what happened to A Zhao in this episode. JoAnne: Ooooh, this was a good one, if a little obvious in all respects. As for A Zhao...she's a naive girl, and she received an important lesson.  Let's see if she actually paid attention.

Chapter 99 written by Chimera and Miniorchid It was calm, too calm. The calm atmosphere contrasted with Li Ying’s unnerving emotions that lingered at each step. The sun began to set as they descended the uneven steps leading to the dark corridor. The smell of dirt, moss, and mist rose from the walls, filling their nostrils. This was a place like no other in the Palace, unlike other areas, which were pristine and clean. Like his many characters, this was a place he wished to hide from the world, from her.

JoAnne: I feel like I'm going to a funeral. kakashi: What now! And I'm on fire! I also have a fever. The flu has me... SakiVI: The flu sucks.  Trotwood: Ahhh. Now it really makes sense. I like it!

SakiVI: Some shocking things happen. S.H.O.C.K.I.N.G. Although now you've been warned, you might be all "meh." Read on. kakashi: It was really shocking. Also, this drama is just so beautiful. Even the shocking things.  JoAnne: I gasped out loud. And then immediately pressed play on episode 5 because how could you NOT? I don't even feel like watching the later episodes. Instead, I just want to go to Episode 5.

Chapter 98 written by kakashi & Panda The weather was unusually still when Ye Hua, with two spare horses behind him, set forth from camp in secret, the plans given to him by Bai Qian carefully stowed away in his armor. He had had to do a lot of pleading before he had convinced her to stay behind. It was astounding but her mood had noticeably lightened after her encounter with the enemy soldiers and the Demon Ancestor - it must be because the agonizing wait was over and they could finally do something to get Mo Yuan back.

Panda: This was hard to watch. kakashi: On so many levels.  JoAnne: This was terrible.  And so FAST. One minute everything is fine and the next, boom.

kakashi: Cao Cao shows his benevolence and a merry celebration party turns sour, revealing the limits of said benevolence. Panda: Getting rid of all these problems is like playing "whack-a-mole". JoAnne:  Other than Weasel and anyone who curries favor with him, who are the bad guys in this?  I'm starting to be confused.

Chapter 97 written by Panda edited by kakashi Growing up as a member of the Nine Tailed Fox Clan and the future Queen on Qing Qiu I felt no need to answer to anyone but myself (and sometimes my parents) nor did I think I needed to obey many rules. I lived my life carefree and secure in the warmth of my family and confident in my power and position in the clan. The old Phoenix however was unhappy with my “unruliness” as he termed it and he convinced my parents I should get proper tutoring and training under the God of War, who was running the most prestigious school in all the realms.
