Nicknames

We use a lot of nicknames on this site! It tends to get confusing (at least for our readers) so here is our nickname glossary for you guys. To be continued!

  • Amber Eyes: Kim Sung-oh
  • Actual Flower Boy: Woo Do Hwan, because he is adorable and ran a flower shop in DramaWorld

B
  • Beautiful Banker: Kim Mu-yeol (because of his role in My Beautiful Bride)
  • Big: Nam Jun-hyuk (cause he's huge)
  • The Broom: Jin Se-Yeon (because she's as exciting as a broom)
C
  • Cheekos: Lee Rowoon, an 8 year old (in 2017) child actor with the chubbiest cheeks.
  • Chubs: Yeon Woo-Jin (he got that nickname during WAML, for his chubby cheeks)
  • Climbing Tree / Jo's Climbing Tree: Lee Tae-hwan (that's how Trot calls him)
  • Cutie Soo: Yoon Hyun-Min (because we first saw him in Heartless City as Kim Hyun-Soo)
  • Chipmunk Hunk/Chiphunk/Hunky Munky: William Chan (Chan Wei Ting) for his ability to be very sexy even with chubby cheeks
  • Crush Puppy: Gong Myung, member of 5uprise, earned his name as the sweet, innocent younger brother of (and second lead to) Ha Suk Jin in Drinking Solo

  • Dimples: Lee Sang-yoon (the original "Dimples")

  • Eyebrows: Kim Woo-Bin.

  • Giant Puppy: Lee Tae-hwan (that's how Jo calls him)
  • Gravity Ge: Hu Ge because he sucks you in like the pull of gravity
  • Gumihot: Choi Jin Hyuk, from Gu Family Medicine Book - the absolute hottest monster ever

  • Hand Towel: Song Seung-heon (dubbed by the Dramabean ladies, because his name sounds like Hand Towel and he wears a hand towel well. Google it!)

  • King of Puppies: Lee Jeong Suk Updated Mar 2017: has been deposed by Park Hyung Sik

  • Limnium: Lim Ju-hwan (Issy, Limnium's wife, refers to him like this)
  • The Log: Shin Hyun-bin (acording to cherkell: " the ginseng-guzzling, blank-face wearing, waste of airspace (except between her ears) female lead Ji-sun from Warrior Baek Dong Soo.)
M
  • Mo: Song Jae-rim (because his role in Inspiring Generation was so cool, he'll always be Mo to us)
  • Moony: Sung Hyuk (from his role as Moon Ji Sang in Jang Bo Ri)
  • My Beloved (Jo): Rain (JoAnne claims he is her one true love)
  • Mr. Panda: Kim Mu-yeol (because he is married to Yoon Seung-Ah, who was in Panda and Hedgehog)

  • Paksa: Jung Kyoung-ho (He'll always be Paksa from Heartless City, whatever role he may play)
  • Polar Bear: Han Jae-Suk (because in Witch's Romance, he sent the lead a polar bear picture or something)

  • Rimmbutt: Song Jae-rim (probably because he has a nice butt? Not sure)
S
  • Second: On Joo-wan (because it first looked like he would only be second in Surplus Princess) 
  • Shinichi: Jo Dong Hyuk (because he was so cool as Shinichi in Inspiring Generation)
  • Sung Swoon:  Sung Hoon, for obvious reasons

  • Teddy Bear: Ma Dong-Seok (because he's like a huge, cuddly teddy)
  • Thighs: Lee Jae-Yoon (named for his tree-like thighs)
W
  • WoobieMyWuv/Woobs: Kim Woo-Bin
  • WTF Paris: Our name for the show Nailshop Paris. So WTF.  This is WTF done right. Watch it.
