Trot: I was so excited thinking that this episode was shorter, but it was just because the version I was looking at had cut out about 40 minutes from the end. Sigh. Now it’s bloated from trying to explain all the action. Sigh again. Kmuse: It's because there was a good twenty minutes of mafia guys shooting each other and not hitting anything. I would probably cut some of it out if I had my way too.  Shuk: Still, there was a little bit of character development. And also, a cautionary tale to always keep extra ammo when you are a villain.

Chapter 58 written by kakashi This morning, after Zhe Yan had finished examining him, the Phoenix had told Mo Yuan he would have a special elixir ready for him tonight, the last one he would need for full recovery. Since he had some important business to tend to at the Peach Blossom Orchard all afternoon, and because there was a faint possibility some adjustments needed to be made to the elixir at the last moment, he had asked Mo Yuan whether he could come and pick it up himself.

Chapter 57 written by MiniOrchid edited by kakashi Early Morning Clashing, banging, clanking….sounds from the distant past, yet so intimately familiar. The smell of sweat, leather, and spilled blood filled the training arena, bringing back memories she had once wanted to suppress. But no more, because right now, at the Ziming Palace Arena, she felt more alive and more invigorated than before leaving this place centuries ago. Yan Zhi sat on the high podium with her trusted Generals, enjoying her breakfast, as they watched the new recruits practicing their martial arts below them at the break of dawn.

Trotwood: Where I wonder if it's that cold out, why Hu Bayi isn't wearing a hat or earmuffs or something on his head. So much heat escapes from the head. kakashi: Where I get really annoyed at this drama's "hahaha, look, this is funny"-humor.   JoAnne: Where I think, 'You know, the scenery is really pretty in this, and the light, too.'

He found her in the kitchen helping out the people assigned to make today’s breakfast. After greeting her a “Good Morning” accompanied with a playful wink that once again visibly flustered her, A-Li collected his meal portion and poured himself a cup of warm tea. He then sat down and observed as he ate how truly happy she looked as she interacted with the inhabitants of her House.

Trotwood: I never thought a day would come when I'm actually watching more dailies than reg dramas. Does it count that I don't start these from the beginning but only about half way in. Looking forward to this week's Temperature of Love. I'm glad Jo likes it because I'm getting the feeling from the internet that we may be the only people. Didn't do that bad in ratings though. Chapter 17 Written By Drama Panda and Unicorn Slippers Xun Ru and Tao Min walked stiffly through the silk stalls of Sanctuary, each affecting the menacing attitude of a Fire Tribe soldier on patrol. They took turns flinging hostile glances at the cowering merchants, who quickly looked away in the hopes of avoiding a confrontation. The crowd milling through the streets all had the same hollow, powerless expression, and it made the Earth Tribe Captain’s blood boil to see his people so dispirited. Though he tightened his grip on the hilt of his sword until his knuckles grew white, he managed to keep his anger in check. He was just thankful that they had not passed through the street that housed his own family’s leather shop. He could not face his parents disguised as a Fire Tribe soldier, no matter the cost of revealing his true identity to them.

By Queen Fengjiu’s orders!” he declared pompously and pulled a face, probably meant to intimidate her.

Gritting his teeth, he remained rigid and quiet to prevent Bai Qian from waking up. She lay as usual draped on his side with her left leg flung over his lower body, her head fitting perfectly in the curve of his shoulder. Holding himself in check, he regulated his breathing, inhaling and exhaling slowly and deeply, focusing on his qi. Gradually, the pain faded away. After what seemed to be the last painful throb, he gave a tiny sigh of relief and relaxed his body. I think it is getting better , he thought.

Trotwood: There are some new shows coming out this week, correct? I feel like Jo's doing all the heavy lifting here, but I'm so not interested in most of the things on. I think I will check out Temperature of Love, despite the fact that Kim Jae Wook is not (once again) the lead. I think he will be wearing vests sometimes, and this shows that he will not play a villain all the time. What else is coming up this fall? kakashi: What gave it away, Trot? (That Jo is doing the heavy lifting)   JoAnne: Yes, ToL starts tonight, so it'll be on next week's RAWR because you know I'm not missing out on Lee Jae Wook in a vest, out of a vest, second lead, third walk on, dressed as a woman, killing people with kettle balls, you name it. I'm there for the handsomest professional second lead in Korea.

It sat deep within the West Corner, hidden away behind a door reachable only through a small narrow path flanked by stone walls. Behind a heavy wooden door, stone steps led down, deeper into the mountain. It was cool down here, dark and quiet, there was no sound of wind or water.

Chapter 5 written by LigayaCroft edited by kakashi & panda Twenty-Five Mortal Months Later… A-Li absentmindedly watched bats fly over the courtyard and to the mountains beyond, and wondered why he felt exhausted even though he had just got out of bed. The lethargy in his movements was unacceptable. He shook his head and started jumping up and down to get his blood pumping faster.

kakashi: I must apologize for the long gap between recaps, I honestly don't know where time went! It's quite shocking it's already mid-September. It's strange with this drama, I very much enjoy it when I watch it, but then, I forget about it quickly. Panda: I enjoy it but because I wait till recaps to watch,it's also really spaced out for me. I don't mind though because the subbing speed is snail-like (not complaining, just stating facts). As always, I am grateful we even get subs at all. JoAnne: I do the same thing. She had been bound and gagged and thrown in a palanquin, carried off by unmarked men. It was news in Pe Kang Li, her Jìyuàn [1], that its madam could only helplessly watch as the men carried her off into the night and had been inconsolable for many weeks after. To the madam, no amount of money could compensate for the income and prestige lost that her abduction caused for the entire Jìyuàn.

Trot:  So I am going to try a new strategy for these snarkcaps. I’m going to do a first draft from fast forwarding through rewatch and typing up whatever I remember from that. The weather had been blistering hot for the past few days, like it hardly ever was on a peak as high as Kunlun Mountain. But now, a thunderstorm was approaching on the horizon, gathering destructive power as it grew in size. Die Feng stopped to have a look at it. He was not one to believe in ominous signs, but he could not help but think that the black, towering clouds looked like they were going to bring what they all feared: the end of peace. As the 2nd Prince of the West Sea and the 1st Disciple of Kunlun, he was well accustomed to war - but like any sane man, he dreaded the bloodshed, the fear, the crushing sadness of loss that any war inevitably brought.

SakiVI: In which our group forms a Scooby Gang. Trotwood: I know I was warned, but did we really need to watch so much pooping? Also, everyone was waiting for my comments about their cold weather prep, and they look pretty prepped to me. Lots of good thick layers, little hand coverings though. kakashi: A very intriguing episode. Group-poop and weasel-pee that makes you see monsters . JoAnne: I found it difficult to pee in shared bathrooms until I was out of school, and only poop away from home in desperation, so... I am trying to block all this out because the next episode (or maybe it's the one after that) is a lot of fun.

The sound of thunder could be heard from afar, bringing with it the sweet promise of thunderstorms, to ease the heat of the summer night. The pleasant cool breeze and the refreshing, life-giving rain would soon bathe the surface, a reminder that even during difficult times, change could arrive at the most unexpected moments.

This week's dramas showed me that watching people talk while pooping (and grunting so they can poop) is not interesting if they don't have something interesting to talk about or if they are acting dumb. How she had gotten herself into yet another predicament he did not know, but he was very grateful she was back. After carefully treating the injury on her foot, he placed her back on her makeshift bed in the large woven basket. Due to her current state, it was unlikely she would get herself into more trouble - at least not right away. He sighed with relief that he had found her safe despite her injuries, and that there had been no hawk around to exploit her weakness. She was very lucky indeed.
