The Problematic of the Unproblematic

Yay! Kim Ji-hoon is tweeting a bit more frequently again! Currently, he is teasing us with this picture ... it's from the 2nd backseat scene! (the light brown one). I really SHIP these two! I wouldn't even mind if they dated in real life! 이번주 방송 많이 기다리시는 분들을 위하여.. 그냥 이혼해 버리기에는 너무나 이쁜커플이죠?^^ 과연 태욱이와 지혜는 이혼을 하게 될까요..? 으악 궁금하다궁금해 ㅋㅋ (uhm .... here is my "translation", which is more of a guessation: "This is for people eagerly awaiting this week's broadcast ... isn't this just a divorced couple oh-so-pretty? ... did Tae-wook and Ji-hye really divorce? This man? He cracks me up. He seems to like his abs almost as much as we like them - or even more?!  He titles his recent Twitter pics "Vietnam. It's very hot", "sunset effect", "diet over", and "B cut". I am guessing he went there for a photoshoot and not another holiday. Nobody goes on holidays that often, right? Especially not Koreans.

And I don't even bother to write more than this.  (well, he tweets that he's on a diet, but ... uhm... WHO THE FUCK CARES????) ABS

I really, really, really miss Lee Jun-ki. It is strange, how we miss certain people sometimes, right? I don't know what it is that makes me miss this one more than others that have been absent from my bedroom for a while. Oups, did I just say that??? This could be misunderstood. But I always watch my dramas in my bedroom. Which is actually not the bedroom I sleep in ... but never mind. Oh, and correction: Lee Jun-ki isn't even completely absent from the bedroom-I-don't-sleep-in! I have postcards of his on my bookshelf. And a signed Iljimae CD. So ... he kinda watches over me whenever I watch something. Nice ... but not enough. I want this man back on my screen! Pronto!   To miss him a little less until he gets back on my screen in a few months (hopefully), I sat down to write this post - with lots of pretty Joongi pictures (credit as tagged). No, these pictures are not particularly new. They are 4, respectively 3 days old by now. Frankly, I was waiting for more of them, but Mr. Lovely hasn't tweeted since (he may be back in Korea) - and I'm really in need of something beautiful right now.  I'm in Geneva, for a conference, have internet, but cannot stream anything (cause both the connection and this computer are the crappiest sh** you can imagine). I'm watching animal documentaries (Blue Planet - German subbed!) and Russian Music Box (never mind if you don't know what that is) and am getting more and more depressed.  First of all: nature is so beautiful (especially all that stuff under water) ... but how much longer will it exist? Human beings and their destructive, egoistic greed make me very sad.  And then, all this killing... Killing, killing, killing. Can't these animals just like each other? Fish A butchers Fish B, Lobster Z pushes Lobster Y out of her sand hole she lovingly prepared for...

Ah, Kim Ji-hoon, I love you. You having some fun? Priceless. You having chosen your next project already?  Even better. Get home and start filming! I have survived RL for now and don't plan to go back for a while (Easy: I'll just have to make sure no new mountain of work will have to be climbed). No, I want to catch up with all the KDrama I have missed in the last few days ... hell, weeks! Give me my KDramas!!!! NOW!!!!  My currently-favorite-KDrama-actor-next-to-LeeJunKi is still in the States, and he keeps tweeting lovely pictures of his lovely self for us lovely fans. We can't just have them on Twitter, can we? And here's a true story about how I almost (not) met a famous Korean Actor who is/was (?) in San Francisco. In my real life - where my name is not kakashi, as you may have guessed - I'm a political scientist, more specifically, I'm specializing in international relations and security studies. Every year, the International Studies Association, the biggest association for my trade, organizes a major conference in America. This year, this convention was in ... San Francisco. From Wednesday 3 April to Saturday 6 April. I had two papers that were accepted, but I decided not to go in person, cause ... hell, it's a long flight, I have a family, and the jet lag kills you when you're there and when you're back. Anyways, I did not got, and let my two co-authors present my papers. And then, today, what happens? Kim Ji-hoon (may I call him oppa?) tweets, after a long absence, from San Francisco. Hot Damn! You might have guessed that I really, really, really want Kim Ji-hoon to pick his next drama project. Like, yesterday. Not that I am missing Flower Boy Next Door - the show had its time and it was good but it is also good that it is over - but I do miss the feeling that came with anticipating the show. Two special episodes have aired (or is it one in two parts?), which I haven't yet seen. I'm sure they are sweet and everyone is gorgeous. And then ... there is Kim Ji-hoon going to a movie premier with Park Shin-hye! OMG! They have always been rather busy tweeting each other and they are keeping this up even after shooting for FBND has ended. It is sweet ... and a little bit suspicious?!  Oh! This is fun!!! Who can name all the celebrities?! Check your Hallyu-knowledge! Kim J-hoon and Park Shin-hye are adorable together. And so it ends. The last episode of Flower Boy Next Door has aired in Korea. We all know that there will be a happy end, which is well deserved. @tvN_Flower has released a last set of BTS-pictures a while ago. It looks as if Enrique and Dok-mi went on a farewell tour ...  ... and then met again after a time jump (hint: Enrique's hair):  And these are some pictures from the last shoot. Lovely. Ah, despite what I said yesterday (that it is good that this show is ending, as it has now come to the end of its story!), I will miss these guys!
