Falling for Innocence - Episode 16 FINAL (This is Not a Recap)

Image
You can only read this because you're alive. Yes. That's the message. Also, always keep your clothes on when in bed with a man! It's quite efficient birth control. It's a happy thing to live in a world with these two, though. As they gaze out over the town, one wonders:  Are they masters of their domain?

Ah cute, touching, and quite satisfactory episode. He is going to die, isn't he? (Well, in fact, I know he isn't. I'm just trying to get some tension into this) That's my LIFE you're playing with, Kakashi!

Yeah, yeah, it's cute. I won't say anything else anymore. Yep, no point in getting yourself all worked up.  Just look at our beloved boy right there. As if he weren't sunshine enough on his own...

Falling for Innocence - Episode 13 (This is Not a Recap)

Why is it so shocking that the guy you're falling for has your ex-fiance's heart???! I don't get that. Fuck this "oh, but I can't sure whether I truly love YOU" shit! Who cares?! This whole plot is so AAARRLJLGH constipated/contrived. And SORRY, there is no investment company in the world who would go to those length to bankrupt a company. WHY WOULD THEY?! Bottom line: this drama went from very bad to EXTREMELY BAD. Over and out. (Okay, the Kang Min-ho coupons were very cute) Yes, they were adorable. He is adorable. Every week, he's more adorable. His adorableness is in direct opposition to the horribleness of Gollum and this very unrealistic plot. Yes, I choose to argue that the business machinations are unrealistic, and I let slide the heart that somehow adds character traits and mannerisms to another human. Whatever! Look at me. There's me and coupons. It's not all bad.

CutieSoo is EEEEEEEVIL. Over and out (=shortest summary of any drama episode ever) He really is. It's very sad, in a way, for those of us who love CutieSoo. We even found a way to have sympathy for Aoki, remember? I guess it's good for him to get to play a different kind of character... sigh... Does Yoon Hyun Min rue the day he accepted a role that would test our love for him?

Falling for Innocence - Episode 11 (This is Not a Recap)

Alright, this is sooooooo sweeeeeeeet when it's sweet. But when it's not, it's so not. Just go away, stupid corporate stupidity. 50 Shades of Grey has hit Korea, apparently

Falling for Innocence - Episode 10 (This is Not a Recap)

Oh dear, this drama is so bad if it isn't about SoNotPaksa and his Innocence. I might stop watching for real and go with our story. It has worked before. Because I know what we like. This. This is what we like. More, please.

Falling for Innocence - Episode 9 (This is Not a Recap)

All that licking of things ... I mean lollipops. It makes me wonder whether Min-ho brushes his teeth often enough. He'll get cavities! Lollies are the worst. I thought gum was the worst. Behind the scenes, though, Jung Kyung Ho IS concerned about his dental health

Falling for Innocence - Episode 8 (This is Not a Recap)

Image
In the wonderful world of Soon-Jung, you hire thugs to beat up protestors and you propose to a girl you have fancied forever even though she has told you very clearly she just wants to be friends. And there is much more WTF. Sigh. Still. We watch. And we feel for Min-ho. Even when he dry-humps a pillow. I am laughing so hard right now because while I thought he looked funny, that is not what came to mind at that moment - but now I cannot un-see it that way. I look 12, suck lollipops, and dry-hump pillows. Wanna date me?

I continue to be amazed that I am so enthralled by a drama with such a 0815-script. Yeah, you got to look that one up, cause that's something only people in German speaking countries use. Also, we get to meet Gollum (that name is used here courtesy of maxqnz@maxqnz) in this episode! It's true! I love this drama too and it's totally due to the actors, because the story isn't anything all that different. You're right about that. I did look up 0815 - do you know it refers back to the type of weapon German soldiers were issued? A totally ordinary, run of the mill thing. Until you get these guys involved and then... we fall in love. It's good that we love him, Jung Kyung Ho thinks...but IS he really in an '0815' drama?

Falling for Innocence - Episode 6 (This is Not a Recap)

kakashi: Alright then, JoAnne wants me to write something real about this episode. Hm. Well ... this show remains a puzzle to me. Is it comedy? Is it not? Judging from this episode, it is not. This episode was sad and somehow, there is little hope for any of the characters for ever finding happiness. Even if Min-ho turns "good" and gets the girl, his previous life will be made meaningless and he will regret deeply. If Soon-jung falls in love with this weird copy of her previous fiancé, I'll be angry too, especially if it happens so soon. Min-ho is an asshole, 95% of the time. The few things he is now forced to do do not make him like the dead guy at all. That said, I still really enjoy this drama, though I remain cautious. It might break our hearts. I take it back. Don't make me question my baby drama! I love it too much! If I have to look at the various pieces critically I'm afraid that will end. Min Ho tries to eyeball how many licks it takes to get to the c...

Falling for Innocence - Episode 5 (This is Not a Recap)

(JoAnne, you should probably write the intro so that it matches your story!) Nooooooooooo!  I like your intros, and I like the brief moment of reality before I plunge us into LaLa Land. Jung Kyung Ho ponders a world without Kakashi's words to start the day and feels lost

Falling for Innocence - Episode 4 (This is Not a Recap)

Image
Mmmmmmmhh, Min-ho is one sexy MoFo when he gets all emotional over nothing. I want to take him home, cook him dinner and put him to bed. Yup, this drama now has me. Well, he has me. Jung Kyung-ho is one hell of a good actor. He really is. I'm falling hard for Kang Min Ho. He looks 12 and his neck is ridiculously long and skinny but when he's thoughtful I just melt. And the rest of the time I'm generally laughing. Also the porn of those hands.

Falling for Innocence - Episode 3 (This is Not a Recap)

Image
Oookay, what happened? This just got very cute and funny. Well, not everything. I still find all those cliché things terrible, but Min-ho and his strangely beating heart? D'awwwwwwwww. Poor confused jerk. I also like his male secretary - when they get the side-kick right, they get it right. Remember the fear we all felt? I think it's going away. I giggle my way through most of the episodes. Paksa commits to his role 100 percent, and everyone is doing what they need to do to keep up. What I love most is that all three of the main actors are skilled at both comedy and drama, and they can make crazy work. Meanwhile, in the ruthless corporate jungle, a fearsome, cold-hearted killer ponders his next move ...and enjoys a tasty cherry lollipop

Falling for Innocence - Episode 2 (This is Not a Recap)

Image
JoAnne started well into this not-sure-what-it-is melo mess, so we're going to continue our Not-Recaps. For Paksa! Long live Paksa! And you, Cutie Soo ... you better watch out. Anyway, we have some rules, too: only the leads make it into the pics and gifs. Well, I cannot promise we won't see anybody else ever, but in this version of the story, there are only leads. I think we are going to need at least one good shot of Jin Goo, maybe down toward the end, to say goodbye.  (Who?) I am so disappointed in Not Very Cutie Soo right now. But I've decided that I like So Not Paksa, even if he is so not Paksa. He's going to end up being Decent Knockoff Paksa, I can tell. This is the shot that sparked the 'he should always be lying down' conversation

Falling for Innocence - Episode 1 (This is Not a Recap)

kakashi: Dear Squeeglets, this is not a recap. But how could we pass on this drama (even though I watched episode 1 and hated it)? Does it not have Paksa and Cutie Soo in it? And Kim So-Yeon who, at least for kakashi here, was one of the first female leads that made an impression, first in Prosecutor Princess and then in Athena: Goddess of War. But then, there's that thing called time, and with a gazillion recaps and non-recaps already going on, all we can do at this moment in time is a CapCap aka Caption Cap aka JoAnne's favorite form of blogging anyway. Nothing that you see or read here may ever have come to pass. Have fun! JoAnne: I watched the first episode last night, and I have to say I couldn't decide what it was it doing, this Show. But it has Paksa (I'm not at all impressed with the look, why do KDramas try to make executive hot shots all look like Hugh Hefner in the 60s?) and Cutie Soo (oh I am SO impressed with the look!) and Kim So-Yeon (big time girl crus...

$_)@*$%^_ Witches Romance Ep 16 (A Finally Final Cap)

Image
Shuk: We have finally reached the final episode. Once this is finalized, we can start something else. Kill Me Heal Me? Or wait for Blood? Both seem like they might be crack(d). Anyways, it's time for the tie-ups and final sweetness before we say goodbye to this 2014 noona romance. JoAnne: I'm still on the fence about KMHM, but I do kinda like it now whereas before I was NOT impressed. Blood just better be a snarkfest, or it's going to be incredibly boring. Both leads have a rather... hmmm... 'low blood pressure' approach to acting. kakashi: This is catharsis. Finishing something that finished so long ago ... it must feel good, no? JoAnne:  Meh. Shuk: [sigh]

$_)@*$%^_ Witch's Romance Ep 15 (A GottaComplete Cap)

Image
What's this? :< Did someone say something bad? *taking out pitchfork* kakashi: It's JoAnne deciding she wants to finish what was once started ... hey, I can help! I just have to rewatch the episodes and most of the time I really hate going back to something I've already seen.  Surprising, right?  I don't do a lot of tv show rewatching, though.  JoAnne, we have a problem!!! All the torrent links for Witch 15 are dead ... I might have to do episode 16 only screencaps and gifs. That's fine by me. I might be able to grab some sub-less screen shots from 15, too. Shuk: I have AWR downloaded, I think. So gifs can be made if needed. I'll add a bunch of gifs that you guys can take out and photoshop as you want. :) I love you, you are awesome, you deserve cookies and a puppy.

Witch's Romance - Episode 14

Image
After a complete dud of an episode (13 must have been the absolute worst), we get a sweet, positive, healing episode next. It's still boring as hell in my opinion, but the sweet kinda makes up for it. Better we have sweet and pointless than bitter and pointless. Yeah, alright, maybe I'm too mean ... it's actually getting really cute again. JoAnne: Pfffffffft. Someone needs a nap. kakashi: It's morning here, but thanks!

Witch's Romance - Episode 13

Image
It's my turn this week! I'm in a stinky mood. I'm tired. I'm vicious. Alright, drama, you wanted it - and now, you get it! --- is what I thought. But then, surprisingly, this episode wasn't too rage-inspiring. Only extremely boring. Though Asshat is still around. JoAnne: I am exhausted because I ran away with Aaron Yan this weekend. It was so worth it. So Polar Bear better watch out and Ji Yeon too, probably, but my love for the puppy and Cutie is still intact because Aaron... that's a different kind of love. Much sweatier. Much.
