20% Percent of What They (Mostly) Got Right: Jae-in's Jackets (Final)

Image
Shuk: I actually goofed up. I thought there were 14 episodes not 16. So this one is actually going to be 4 episodes long, and may contain ugly suits. Any complaints, though? Any? .... Okay, here we go then.

80% of Something Horrifying: Jae-in's Jackets (Part Two)

Image
Round Two of the destruction of our eyes! And just because of these eyesores (well, and the kissing), I am now the proud owner of a HD version of the show. Trotwood: (breaking out into wild applause) The things you do for humanity, Shuk!

80% of Something Horrifying: Jae-in's Jackets (Part One)

Image
Shuk:  I started Something About 1%  by dramarathoning the first ten episodes or so. After sighing and squealing and my emotions running the spectrum, I wiped away tears from my eyes. They weren't tears of sadness, nor of joy. They were just irritated from the sheer ugliness of more than half the outfits that poor Ha Seok-jin had to endure. Do they ever get a say in what they wear? NUMBER ONE CHOICE IN MY BOOK

Open Letter to So Ji Sub

Image
aka an excuse to google pictures Dear So Ji-Sub ssi...annyonghasaeyo. How are you doing? I miss seeing you in dramas so please come back soon! I remember the first time your hot body and dreamy eyes   good acting drew my eye. It was Ghost ( The surprisingly good drama about cyber crime in korea) You were so cool! Starting out as one character, then becoming another character pretending to be the first character. Watch the show you'll know what I'm talking about *mind blown* And then you were in Master's Sun ( I learnt how to say the title in hangul just for you) You! In those suits! So cute! So Hot! Much Feels!*

Idol Fashion Dramatized: You're Beautiful

Image
Just In Case Wei: Hello fellow Squeeglets! I am back again for take two (quite literally since the first draft of this post disappeared into an internet black hole) of Hongki oppa's fashion and hair. This time, we'll revisit his days as the idol band member Jeremy in the drama You're Beautiful (미남이시넹요). Like for many, Jeremy was my first introduction to Lee Hongki as an actor and idol. For me, it was instant love and adoration because how can you dislike a guy who names his dog Angelina Jolie? But while Jeremy was great as a character, there were a number of questionable fashion choices, along with his fellow bandmates played by Jang Geunsuk and Jung Yonghwa. Since JGS and Yonghwa can be pretty eye candy too, I won't leave them out! Let's take a look at the handsomest ANJells that ever walked the earth (or at least the kpop world)! Lafer aka KLnoona:  I love You're Beautiful!  And I'm so glad you included all the boys! Because there is just too much cra...

The Heirs: When Fashion Crimes Are Quasi Art (Part II)

Image
And it continues. While we (well, some of us at least!) wait for this show to finally end (please no extensions! Please! Please!!), we present you with more Tan fashion crimes. But BE WARNED! This post may hurt your eyes!

The Heirs: Fashion Crimes and Beyond

Image
There are the pink lips. And then, there is the .... shall we dare call it fashion ? Kim Tan's fashion crimes are a thing to look forward to, so I do hope they are not going to take that pleasure away from us (who else has noticed a certain improvement in episode 8?). We, the very-interested-and-important-friends of The Heirs, have prepared this special treat for you. We present you: The Kim Tan's Fashion Crimes! Do not try this at home, kids!!

The King of Dramas ... Watches and more Suits

Image
Time is of the essence in The King of Drama. Anthony Kim, defender of this title, looks at his watch fairly often. He may be down and out, but the man has quite the watch collection! To my regret, they stopped showing close-ups of watches after Episode 1. Was the watch manufacturer just a sponsor for Episode 1? Most likely.  Well, if I can't hunt for watch-pictures, I'll just hunt for suit-pictures . I am not entirely sure, though, whether you, dear reader, understand how difficult suit-picture-taking is. First of all, to be able to fully appreciate the beauty of Anthony's outfits, a full-body picture is (or would be) necessary. They are a rare species. And if we see him from head to toe in the Drama, he is usually moving fast. Most often he is strutting hotly. That's a tricky thing for good screen-shots (and that's why it's often Paparazzi quality at best). And even if I manage to catch one of these rare moments - the beauty still cannot be fully r...

Suits in the King of Dramas (Episodes 1-6)

Image
Major ahjussi crush alert!!!  Anthony Kim (Kim Myung-min), our King of Dramas, is one fine looking man! I vote him the most elegant and best dressed of all characters ever, forever. His wardrobe is a piece of art, consiting of vests, jackets, trousers, ties, watches, cufflinks, pins, socks, shoes, and bags he carries. When I set out to do a post on his suits, I wasn't yet aware that he actually changes them approx. 4 times in every episode. After spending an hour taking screenshots of him in suits, trying to do justice to all the different pieces (and only making it to episode 6!), I was starting to lose my mind, so I stopped. For now. My favorite one!  Which one is your s ?  (Getting this blogging platform to present the following pictures in a at least marginally acceptable layout took me another hour. The upside: at least I will never get bored that way! As a result, the order of suits is no longer chonological with regards to their appearance. See whet...
