kakashi: Hell. What an episode so close to the end! Let me tell you, I am glad I did not live-watch this show. JoAnne: I'm not sure if I was live-watching at this point or not. Well, what passes for live-watching, since it had completely aired already on Chinese TV. I don't think I was, though.

kakashi: Dear Peaches - the recap project is almost over TT____________TT but we can't let go. In the process of creating the background for our fanfiction project , we came up with a timeline, which we want to share with you. Comments and corrections are welcome! kakashi: Another eventful episode, now close to the end! Ye Hua's mortal trial may be over, but a trial of another kind is waiting for him - will he win Bai Qian back before the end of the drama? Or will we all cry our eyes out for all eternity? JoAnne: It's okay either way, Peachers. Kakashi and the Writer Throng will make it right if Ye Hua doesn't get his girl in the end. No Peach Pitty Parties will be necessary!

Chapter 6 written by kakashi  Edited by JoAnne His guilt was stronger than his reason. Mo Yuan settled back down, feeling slightly embarrassed. Being here, so close to Shao Wan felt unreal and more than a little discomforting.   Of course she knew about his current state. She had an uncanny ability to see through other people, to read their essence, without doing soul-searching magic. For hundreds of years she had tried to break through his defenses, in vain. She had only made him stronger and more determined.

Chapter 5 written by kakashi  edited by JoAnne Zhe Yan was standing near his hut and greeted Mo Yuan with a nod. It was always hard to read Zhe Yan’s expression or to guess what his intentions were. Mo Yuan had not forgiven him for bringing Si Yin to his school, knowing full well he had to let her in and knowing full well what likely effect the young woman was going to have on him. Zhe Yan enjoyed messing with people's heads far too much.

Chapter 4 written by kakashi  edited by JoAnne Stepping outside into the light, Shao Wan breathed in the crisp, cold air. What a delight! It would be spring soon, her favorite season. Today the low sun only offered some feeble warmth, but Shao Wan did not mind, she was never cold anyway. She remembered learning that there were no seasons in the Heavens when she was relatively newly hatched and how much she had pitied the Heavens Clan for it.

kakashi: In case you were wondering why things have slowed down; it's a mixture of real life demands, fanfiction writing and regret that recapping this drama will be over soon. I'm stalling! I really don't want this to end. In addition, these last few episodes are really slow. JoAnne: I don't know about y'all but the break was nice. Don't get me wrong, I luuuuuh me some Mark Chao face/hair/smile/Qian Qian give me another baby but I'm ready for this to be over. Mama needs to rest.

Chapter 3 written by kakashi  Edited by JoAnne  Mo Yuan drew a sharp breath. Impossible! Shao Wan was dead. He had killed her. He had seen her burn and her screams had haunted him for hundreds of years until he managed to forget by sheer willpower.

JoAnne: Will we be a third RAWR of mostly Peach comments? Will Saki finally break under the pressure? kakashi: I told Saki that there are a few Peach-fans who are also corgi-fans, I think that mollified her a bit. Sadly, I am still not able to do anything else but recap Peach. I'm also terrified: what will I do once I'm done?! Write fanfic? Oups, yes. Doing that. SakiVI: There is Whisper, Kakashi!!! And those corgi-fans should add corgi pictures to their comments. Trotwood: I'm here and not watching Peach and I'm not watching until the summer (if at all) no matter what you people say. SakiVI: First of all, a clarification: singer Cheng Tong and Ming Na's kid sister, Le Le, are not the same person as I had thought in the last recap. Apologies to fans of those actresses/characters/both. Second, this episode had some hilarious product placement. kakashi: This is a lot of fun and not at all like I expected. I really like the tongue-in-cheek humor. Frankly, I'm not paying an awful lot of attention to the story, but I don't think that's needed anyway. JoAnne: I think you're safe on that one, Kakashi. Episode 3 We see Luo Luo's two managers. Yang Dan is calling movie directors for roles for Luo Luo, and Male Manager is doing a face mask. He seems pretty useless, lol. No one will work with Luo Luo, though, and all are working with Cheng Tong instead, because she has been blackballed by Da Qin, Mr Evil's corporation. One director offers to get Luo Luo into some charity party so that people don't forget her entirely, m

kakashi: We learn a valuable lesson in this episode: Do not piss off fate. A bit of the badass that Fengjiu could (or should) have been makes an appearance, but it just makes me sad that she wasn't always a fate-denying crazy little fighter.  JoAnne: I'm nodding my head in agreement, not that you can see it. Take my word for it, and I bet you will also agree that we're lucky she's so charming in general because it bought her a little grace from us during her most embarrassing moments. Plus, we know that she still has a chance to grow up and be a bad ass Queen, too, right ?

**I am trying my hand at Shifu fanfic because there is not enough Shifu in the world. Instead of meddling with the magic and beauty of Bai Qian and Ye Hua’s love story or making her enjoy a threesome (I have to admit I was tempted), I am continuing Tong Qi Gong Zhi’s "Prologue of the Three Lives Three Worlds Buddha Trials", which is believed to be the beginning of Mo Yuan’s love story, though it’s unclear whether she will continue it herself.** If you want to read the original prologue and a very funny story about how Mo Yuan and Shao Wan met at school, go here   Now, seeing how there is so much witty talent gathered on this blog at the moment, I want to invite you all - yes, you Peaches - to help me with the story.
