The Problematic of the Unproblematic

kakashi: The first ending (episode 28) didn’t appeal to many people (you don’t say!), so they made another ending! Hahahahahaaa, massive fail. I must admit, 28 really was the biggest mess of a final episode I’ve ever seen. I do prefer this one, and it's not because they made it a happy ending. It just makes much more sense. JoAnne: I guess we'll see how much I remember of this one, huh?

kakashi: Subs get really bad and cryptic. I don’t blame you, subbers, this episode is so weird I had to watch it several times to make sure I wasn’t dreaming or hallucinating. JoAnne: I'm still not convinced we aren't dreaming right now.

kakashi: Tingjun finally gets some. JoAnne: Oh thank GOD. He is not quite himself though.

kakashi: We continue but we wish it was over. JoAnne: Oh my GOD, do we ever. It's alright, though. We somehow sense that our frustration makes things fun for you guys. Brats .

kakashi: Tingjun I. starts his reign and things get much, much shittier than they already are. JoAnne:  Well what do you expect?  He can't even get a mask fitted properly. And really, plain white? He might as well slap a piece of bread on his face with a hole cut out for his eye.

kakashi: Tianyi finds out about the Goddess-business and freaks out. Understandably. JoAnne: I wish I had that pretty of a freak out face. I look more like the Home Alone kid, but older, fatter, brunette, and not a boy.

kakashi: Twu Wuv unites, a sinister new character makes an appearance and I'm counting the episodes I still need to recap. JoAnne:  You and me both.  This shot looks like a painting, doesn't it?  Mary visited by the Angel Wingkind.

kakashi: Somebody loses his perpetual boner in this episode! JoAnne: I would say it must be a real pain in the ass to have a perpetual boner but...that's probably more for the people around the guy with the PB.

kakashi: We learn what's wrong with Wingkind Emperor (who remains hot), what big problems are in his future and, yes, someone dies. JoAnne: Just one person? Damn it.

kakashi: The by far most sensible character in this episode is the mechanical butterfly Chi Su. Go figure. JoAnne: Tough, too. I thought Chi Su got crumpled up last time around. Yeah, but he gets fixed . 

kakashi: Oh no. The honeymoon is already over, we enter the The Angst. Why did you not give the sweeties some more happy, you stupid show! >.< They're also exceptionally stupid about everything. JoAnne: It's because they're TWELVE.

kakashi: Can Fuling be saved from the curse? Or will Feishuang get what she wants? Lots of sweet and some bone-chilling crazy in this episode. JoAnne: Aww, they look so cute, and kind of moldy.

kakashi: Heav'n has no Rage, like Love to Hatred turn'd, Nor Hell a Fury, like a Woman scorn'd. Like so often in CDrama, someone turns fully mental as they wish death upon their rival. Will sweet love be able to save her? JoAnne: I'm thinking I'd enjoy a drama based on two bitchy second leads fighting it out to the death, never even noticing while the OTP skips happily off into the sunset. First season could be Evil Xue Girl and Su Jin from Peach?

kakashi: Two fools die and one new favorite lives. There is not one second of Wingkind Emperor in this episode and I feel CHEATED. JoAnne: I was surprised that they really died. Were you?

kakashi: An unexpected twist occurs! Yes, you had me fooled, show. I am a bit proud of you. JoAnne: Awww, it's WKE! I've missed his pretty face. 

kakashi: An intriguing episode, in which different people plot different things and ... would you look at these eyelashes? Damn. JoAnne: I always start at his lips and then get stuck there.

kakashi: Oh look, Wingkind Emperor has already moved on to his rebound girl! There is nothing that cures a broken heart better than new love. JoAnne: I don't buy it.

kakashi: Oh my god. Tortured Feng Tianyi breaks my shipper heart in two. Despite the many lust hormones this guy makes me release - they cloud my thinking - I realize for the first time that this show might actually end in bitter, bitter tears. JoAnne: No way. They have to be together in the end, right?

kakashi: Things in that Wingkind City sure are no fun for Wingkind Emperor. I hate to see him suffer, but at the same time, we get to know him from a completely different side and it does not make him less likeable. He isn't nasty at all, he is just sad and trying to fight those who humiliate him whenever they get a chance or want to outright kill him. We realize that Fuling is someone who gives him strength; and that's one of the reasons why she has become a very important person for him. JoAnne: We loves him, we does. We loves WKE.

kakashi: Awwww, Wingie ... don't be sad. We're all here for you and will make your boo-boos go away. JoAnne: Or at least distract you from them.
