We Got Married - The RimKim Couple (Episode 17)

More honeymoon, including a wet T-shirt contest. It's not the most exciting episode ever though. And it did make me a bit angry. See why. Also, mary's still not commenting. JoAnne: You're not one for posturing or for falling back on standard male/female tropes, either. I can see you getting annoyed on this. becca: More than annoyed, I was kind of bored.

Honeymoon Part II! I love all the food and this is a great PR campaign for Turkey, too ... I want to go even more now.  JoAnne: I really liked this episode - it's more of Turkey than I've ever seen, and RimKim were adorable. becca: It really does look amazing. Maybe I'll go there when I'm a millionaire. (I have no idea how I'll become a millionaire, but hey! it's important to have goals!) I'm very sad though, cause mary doesn't want to comment :(

Honeymoon in Istanbul! So much fun! This is a very enjoyable episode, thank you, show! They're quite busy coping in the foreign country (tickets machines ... a plague, I tell you) and therefore, there's less of the stuff that started to annoy me recently, when they both kinda started playing their own WGM roles a bit too much. We're back to completely natural RimKim. Pure love. In this episode, I finally notice that Rim laughs like a donkey's bray. I do not care one bit. becca: Last night, I dreamed that they ended up staying in a hostel where everyone slept in one big room together, and the beds were infested by this weird flea/mouse hybrid. :\ Sadly, mary can't stream anything right now. Sadly, mary cannot comment on this. It's just ... SAD :(

kakashi: This episode brings us nail polish, demure woman and preparations for a trip abroad. Not much happens. But we say that every week, it seems. Mary: I'm still here.... (haha why do we sound so low energy? Is it the after-wedding crash? The Holiday Rush sapping our energy?) JoAnne: They need to have a fight. becca: Not enough Nam. Also, yes, I have the lowest of low energy right now.

Mary: It's the after-wedding episode where "nothing" much happens. If you count So-eun initiated sweet skinship "nothing", that is. Our couple just hangs out and kicks butt in the closeness department. It makes Rim very happy. Though he still complains at the lack of closeness of their lips because he's a cheesy perv like that. (Hey, be glad you were paired with So-eun and not a highly-chaste 100% concentrated virgin idol!) JoAnne: If I had a nickel for every 'nothing' that happens this ep I'd...have a bunch of nickels. kakashi: The same amoung of nothing happens as usual, I'd say. They might ha ve to think of something to up the ante soon. We're all getting too comfy with this.

It's the wedding! The fun part! And we finally get our wish to see RimKim + our favorite host together in one room! becca: I want them to adopt Nam, so that he will always be with them. JoAnne: We won't get any torrid make out sessions for sure, then. At least right now I have hope. It's a foolish hope, but it's mine and I cherish it. kakashi: I have already adopted Nam. He lives in my pocket and from time to time, I take him out and pat his hair. And stuff.

It's the wedding episode, it's the wedding episode!!! Ooooooooohhhhh, it's the wedding episode! JoAnne: My goodness, she's a lovely bride.  And that spunky personality too?  You know, if SHE had been the lead in a certain drama...I bet a lot of people might feel differently about Almosssssst Parrrrrradise... Mary: It won't be Almost anymore! Then again anything with Rim si Paaaaaaaaradiiiiiiiiise. becca: This episode and the preview for next week killed me. This is my ghost speaking.

Here it is, finally! 6 Levels of Skinship and all. Let's just go talk about the meaty, juicy parts of this episode, okay? (Note: all of them are meaty.) kakashi: It's getting hot in here. Did somebody turn up the heating?!

We Got Married - The RimKim Couple (Episode 9)

This is the "Meet some Friends" episode and I really like it because Rim gets quite jealous. Both of them also embarrass some Baby Boys, which made me laugh quite a bit. JoAnne: I have been looking forward to this, I saw a glimpse of the Prettiest Puppy. Mary: MY BIDET HOPES!!! Demolished. Destroyed. Crushed like a newlywed's gourd... T_______T koko, think of another fun gift for Rim. Quick! becca: Gift of koko.... O_o Am I gonna have to lock myself in the supply cabinet again?

They're getting sweeter. Is that even possible? Sweeter and more sincere, somehow. He tones it down a bit in this episode, which is good. He lets actions speak. Also good. There's a wedding coming up. Very good. Mary: I just finished watching the raw Running Man guesting of Rim. The raw Section TV guesting of Rim. And the raw (followed by subbed) WGM ep8. Don't they have that saying about kokoros? When it Rims, it purrs! :)))) JoAnne: Can there be too much Rimming, Mary? For you? becca: I don't know if it's because I don't feel well (so I'm tired and kinda out of it), but this might be the funniest episode yet. I laughed so much, my smile muscles hurt! [[Also, a shout-out to our LTE-Couple friends at soompi who are enjoying our pervy analytical comments about WGM.]] JoAnne: Do we have new friends? Hi! becca: *waves*

American breakfast, food truck, jealousy, a mission and a shooting range. That's what we get this week! They seem to be having fun - I was smiling the whole time. JoAnne: This week was interesting because they really act like they feel comfortable with each other, like they've known each other a long time.  But their conversation points out that they are still 'new' to each other.  It actually makes it seem more plausible, that 'instant attraction'. Mary: Finally, the mission card makes an appearance! Make it good, MissionCard-nim! becca: I think this episode killed Nam.

We Got Married - The RimKim Couple (Episode 6)

T-shirt making and a deboner dinner is waiting for you, people! Also, we finally get to see the cats again. I wonder whether they keep them there all the time, even when they're not filming? JoAnne: A 'deboner dinner' brings to mind a very different picture than what I actually saw... becca: We already know the PD is keeping all the good stuff to himself. Of course he isn't going to show those  appetites being satisfied.   Mary: The PD is a she. I bet she's keeping all those extra footage in a secret basement. Next to an altar dedicated to Rim.

Ready for more cheese? You know what helps when you've had too much of it? (I should know, I'm Swiss, and am often forced to eat Fondue). You drink hot tea with it - and eat it with pickles. It's a myth that it helps to drink Schnaps or white wine! In fact, that makes you digest even slower!! But you know what? I don't care. Science. What do they know. Mary: Bring on the cheese! And the fondue!!! JoAnne: Cheese and pickles would be good, yes. I wonder that Koreans don't eat more cheese, given how much they like pickled things. becca: Cheese and... pickles? Am I the only one who finds that combo unusual? *shrug* As long as you're happy! But I just want the pickles!

Mary: Halloa~ this is mary finally helping out with the WGM squeecaps. But first a 90-degree bow to kakashi for doing all the previous episodes while I was busy with life. (Even if hers is actually busier right now!) Thank you very kakashi! The drama gods are rewarding you with an increasingly awesome Shinichi/Tae-soo in Bad Guys! JoAnne: And we all benefit! Mary - I love the twist on thank you very kamsa :) kakashi: Heeellloooooo, mary! Glad to see you here! And happy to have been of service .

The Mermaid is over (I'll not lie, I'm glad), people are sad, but there's always the CheeseCouple. The CatCouple? The LTECouple? The PaboPabo Couple? Man, Rim needs to learn how to filter before he speaks. JoAnne: Please someone for the love of God tell me what LTE stands for. Mary: I just Googled (Long Term Evolution) but I think they're called LTE because they're so fast. Hahaha. Also, my brain is fried from the cheese, I can't come up with a jeob-worthy meaning for LTE. Yes, LTE is the super fast (4G) cellphone technology. It's all about speed (and there's a lot of funny ads for LTE stuff on Korean TV, you sometimes see them in cable shows!)   JoAnne: Yes, but for me they will be the Let's Touch Everything Couple.

Oooooooooooooooh my god. Rim! You .... big cute baby dork! In this episode, the wife's fingers curl up non-stop and I cringe-squee all the time. Mary: *sitting smug in her Rim throne* I chose well. (Don't ask me about Surplus Princess though. JoAnne: I don't know though. You fell for Mo, and then uncovered the enormous dork.  That just seems kind of lucky to me.  Well, not kind of. INCREDIBLY BLESSED. Because your guy is 96% perfect. becca: When I heard he was a dork, I was not expecting him to really be this dorky. But he is, and it's beautiful, and he totally owns it, which just makes it that much more attractive. I think I love him.

kakashi: Hi everyone! I'm not mary/kdramalaws. Which is unfortunate, but the thing is: she is working so much these days she can barely say hi but she promised to comment at least. Right? Hello? Mary? Are you there? Mary: I'm here. Barely coherent at the cuteness of this show. But here with my pet kokoro. Ready to be jeobbed, the both of us. Aren't we, koko? a tiny little voice: yes! JoAnne: I am deeply uncomfortable appearing anywhere in the near vicinity of Mary's tiny talking kokoro. DEEPLY. Mary: Don't worry, she doesn't bite. (not as comforting as you might expect) The second thing you need to know is this: I have never before watched We Got Married . In fact, I always thought pretending to be married to somebody for a variety show is the weirdest idea EVER - and why would anyone want to watch it? Right. I still think it's the weirdest idea ever, but then, everybody started raving about the RimKim couple all around me until I finally caved and w...
