The Problematic of the Unproblematic

Trotwood: This is the episode where I coin the phrase Baby Terrorist (BT) and wish it were truly ironic and not so scary and sad, especially when a BT speaks such truths. Panda: Sigh

kakashi: .... thought long and hard about what to write, couldn't think of anything. Trotwood: But the picture is so pretty.  Panda: I am here, I am here, sorry I'm late! Oooooh, who is this? So pretty.

kakashi: Oh man, more fillers. And no pancake smiles! Boooooo! JoAnne:  Yawwwwwwn  ... wait, Kakashi, if we start out by saying something is boring, ummm...are people going to keep, you know, READING? Bunny: Sigh... There's no such thing as free lunch. Gotta pay in yawns to get to the good stuff.

Father Immortal had liked to experiment with different substances in his free time before opening his famous school for all Tribes, and those with particularly good eyes looking for proof would eventually find the faint traces of explosions on the walls around and above the cauldron.

Kakashi: Man, I ate a lot this week. Mountains of the most delicious cheese. Let me publicly admit it - French cheese is the best. No time to watch anything though. Panda: I currently have the worst MP ever and miss being pregnant and not worrying about this for 12 months + ☹️😢😢 Trotwood: And I spent most of my week at a conference that was all about legal issues and crisis management, which was super fun but also sad because people talked about how to process tragedy. Still, I found the perfect cupcake shop, too. So I ate way too many cupcakes and didn't watch hardly anything either. JoAnne is sorely missed. We are so lame in comparison to her.     Honestly! How can we bribe her to come back?? I miss her so much. Me, too. I've never watched most of the mainstream shows that she does and people come here for.

kakashi: It's a filler. A few tiny, gentle smiles of Jiu Chen's are worth it though. JoAnne: The highlight for me was his brutal put down of Yuan Tong.  'Even if she's not here, it won't be you. Don't call for me again. I don't want to see you.' Bunny: The next 10 episodes could have been easily condensed to about 2-3. I swear there's no sense of brevity at all in these cdramas. 

kakashi: Bunny, you can open your eyes! It's not longer sad at all. There's a cute dragon AND a cute baby in this episode! Bunny: yeah yeah, I'm here. You're lying though, it's still sad as all hell. My poor Ling Xi takes her own life to escape these Heavenly lunatics and they still won't leave her alone. JoAnne: But! Cute baby!*does little dance involving pointing out the baby*

kakashi: I'm in Dijon when this posts and I do hope I won't fall into a food coma. OverAndOut (haven't watched a thing but met feather!) Panda: I have fallen back into drama watching, who woulda thunk? In addition to the 2 recent dramas that I will comment on below, I also started Love and Destiny and I am trying to binge so I can finally start reading recaps on here :) Trotwood: I'm already enjoying your food pics. I spent half a day driving to another state for a three-day legal conference. Always interesting. Means I'm behind on dramas though. Okay. I'm always behind and watching stuff that half of you don't watch, but I still enjoy the conversations! JoAnne: Again, I'm not seeing these food pics. It's Chen Kun, it's not food . 

Chapter 4 - Eight Pills written by kakashi It was one of the most basic human need to be loved. A gentle touch, an encouraging smile, a few friendly words… it did not take much to make you feel like you belonged and only a little more to become thoroughly addicted to touches, smiles, and words.

kakashi: Go away, sad episode, shoo! (but the images! He looks SO GOOD!) JoAnne: We just love misery. Bunny: Is it over yet?

kakashi: I travelled far this weekend to eat Beuschel (which is a lung and heart ragout). Now I'm tired. Trotwood: I've enjoyed watching your travelog with all the food (and drink) pics. Panda: I watched a drama!!!! Whoooop

kakashi: The Demon Detention Tower, huh. JoAnne:  That place was actually really cool from a viewing perspective.  Not cool from a sitting/waiting perspective though, I imagine. Bunny: Everybody got their comfort supplies? Ready for more doom? You guys are such troopers.

The only things able to emerge from it were nameless shadows with no substance, soundless and deadly. The liquid dripping from the ceiling caressed his skin like the fingers of ghosts. kakashi: We go deeper down the drain. God of War surfaces from deep meditation and seems sure he can have it both: safe Ling Xi and safe the world. Good luck with that, man! We're rooting for you. JoAnne:  At the same time, this isn't our first rodeo. We know where this is going. Bunny: We are totally not placing any bets on you.
