Having somebody hold her was entirely new to her, but Mo Yuan had hugged her close like it was something important to him, so she had stopped trying to wiggle away. In fact, it was quite warm and cozy and his skin against hers felt nicer than a silk robe. It helped that the platform now felt infinitely more comfortable with an addition of several plush pillows and a very thick fur bedspread. When Mo Yuan had got his powers back those had been the first things she had told him to get. There really was no need for bruised backs when one had immortal powers.

kakashi: The by far most sensible character in this episode is the mechanical butterfly Chi Su. Go figure. JoAnne: Tough, too. I thought Chi Su got crumpled up last time around. Yeah, but he gets fixed .

After Si Yin left, it’d been more than 70,000 years since the disciples had to organise a search party. The most memorable occasion was Si Yin’s kidnapping, when the White Goddess took it upon herself to seek Shifu’s attention by torturing his favourite disciple. And then, who could forget the time when Si Yin stole Shifu’s body after getting them all drunk, sending them into a frenzy that lasted for millennia?

JoAnne: Maybe while we all melt from the heat we'll watch dramas, and if I put this up earlier than the weekend we'll have more time to jot down our thoughts. kakashi: I'm on strike, it's far too hot. People are actually dying because of the heat .  Trotwood: I kept coughing though every time I went into the air conditioning and I would stop when I warmed up. Go figure. I hate the heat, but more I hate the humidity. Your body parts shouldn't stick together. I'm caught up with all the dramas I'm watching. I think that's a first though. He had left Snow Blade City in haste and had been highly infuriated. After Shi had practically commanded him to abandon Lan Shang, he had gone to her and tried to tell her in not as many words why they would have to be apart for a while. Contrary to the common belief among the palace residents, Lan Shang was no fool, and she had read between the lines. She had become furious with Xing Jiu and had gone off in a huff. When Wu Zan told him that she had slapped Shi he had immediately gone to search for her. The sight of her crying her eyes out made him feel like the lowest of the low and he resolved accompany her on her journey back to Seven Bay Island, where she would be out of Shi’s immediate reach and back among her own people.

Their union had become inevitable ever since his realization that he wanted to be with this woman, and yet, he was unsettled by how the events had unfolded. He wished he hadn’t had to kill demon warriors and fight with the Yellow bastard, who now had legitimate grounds for war. Yet, given the same options, he would do it all over again. The bastard had dared to hurt Shao Wan and her Mount, and his regret was less that he had fought him, but more that he had not been strong enough to kill him.

It was very austere just like she had always imagined and brimming with divine energy, so much of it she could feel it on her skin despite her sealed powers. But it was also much smaller than she had envisaged it, with only a round, plain meditation platform in it, a thin, uncomfortable cushion on top, an incense burner and two pine-tree shaped candle holders to the side.

Chapter 28 written by kakashi, with inserts by Miniorchid When Shao Wan woke up at Kunlun for the second time, she was less disoriented than the first time, but even more furious. She immediately remembered that Mo Yuan had brought her to this hell against her will. He had blindsided her on that mountain. She had been stupid enough to feel thrilled to fight with and not against him, but the first chance he got, he had betrayed her again. She was incredibly weak because of his seal. At least, someone had healed her wounds. Also, the Celestial bastard had given her energy, quite a bit, but she did not owe him any debts for this, she decided, quite the opposite. She felt like she had gorged on sticky sweets and was soon going to be viciously sick. That she detected the faint smell of the fox woman in this room didn't help with her nausea.

kakashi: Another recapping project ends! Many people were quite dissatisfied with the final episode - or rather, the very ending of the ending. Yes, it is not perfect. But don't let this otherwise excellent drama be spoilt by it! Eleanor: I wonder sometimes what happens with the editing process at the end of something. Do they sort of mess it up a little because they also don't really want it to end? Do they get tired? Chapter 26 written by kakashi It was simply laughable. Mo Yuan, the most venerated Taoist Master in all the realms, sat in his meditation cave and failed spectacularly at meditating. Unnerved, he opened his eyes. It was pointless to try and sit still if all he could do was fidget around like the most inept beginner. Would he ever be able to settle back into his old routines?

 Chapter 25 written by kakashi Shao Wan cloud-jumped to the gates of the Obsidian Palace. She had brought no weapons, because whatever arms she had in her current possession were useless against a High Demon God like Cheng Yin. She wouldn’t even try to get her whip this time. The gates were wide open and there were no guards or soldiers anywhere. She walked in, her skin prickling. The silence and the emptiness were ominous but fitting. This was how she had always imagined her tomb: A huge, black stone building that scared every visitor.

It was baffling to her that it was possible for so many clans from different realms to come together in such a peaceful manner. Demon clan festivals were always rowdy and violent, competitions to showcase one’s warrior skills. Male and female warriors alike thirsted for an opportunity to increase their cultivation through bloody battles. Injuries or even the death of weaker demons were normal occurrences there.

He had trouble believing that her stubborn commitment to the memory of his brother had been erased by a tenderness towards Xing Jiu. No matter the outcome of their

kakashi: This drama is so long and daunting. I will summarize this episode in bullet-form. I'm also THAT close to dropping it. JoAnne: It's no better or worse than other dramas set against similar backgrounds, to me. This is not your kind of drama at all.   SakiVI: I don't like it. It gets a bit more tolerable when Kim Ji Hoon shows up in later episodes, but only for his scenes.
